Welcome to
The Silverlining Project

The Silverlining Project is a multi-platform advocacy group that aims to spread awareness among the youth and the elderly on the importance of Mental Health. Our goal is to open the conversations on how to deal with life’s difficulties and challenges, to highlight the importance of dealing with the self, the relationship with others and with God, and to spread the message of hope and love. Three latest activities were successfully organized by the group. Last February 9, 2019 was the first Silverlining: Conversations on Hope and Love event held at 933 Creatives, Sampaloc, Manila. It was a night of inspirational talks, jam and spoken word poetry attended by the students of the University of Santo Tomas and other youth groups. We also organized a visit to the sick and the elderly priests of the Cardinal Sin Welcome Home in Manila. Last January 4, 2020, we organized a Human Formation Seminar and Workshop for the Church workers of the Diocesan Shrine of San Vicente Ferrer in Mamatid, Cabuyao City.

In the future, the group hopes to provide several projects that promote mental health such as the following: Safe space events, Support groups, Educational feature videos on Mental Health, Training of Volunteers, and Seminar Modules on Mental Health First Aid. The goal is to penetrate different religious and civil groups and organizations where Mental Health Awareness is lacking and needs immediate attention and guidance.

We would really like to spread our mission and advocacy and to make each project or gathering a truly memorable experience of fellowship and renewal among our collaborators and participants.

Interested individuals who would like to join our group may send an e-mail message to silverlining933@yahoo.com.

We would be blessed if we could share awareness and inspiring stories, and continue this mission with you.
